Wastewater (Septic) Systems

At the present time, conventional (city) wastewater treatment is not available in any portion of the township. We are entirely served by Individual Sewage Treatment Systems (ISTS) or the a relatively new Community Sewage Treat Systems (CSTS).

Both systems represent a substantial investment by the homeowner and as with all investments, the Wastewater systems need to be cared for.

One area where care needs be taken is dealing with Household Hazardous Wastes". The link on the right will provide some information on this topic.
